This Month:
Ulrik Frostblade

Check out what our players are saying about their experiences at Equinox.

Lori - My friend has been begging me to LARP for years, and I finally gave in after meeting the players and staff of EQ at a party. They are the best group of people you will ever meet. I drive 4 hours from MD to come to EQ every month. The staff does an awesome job of bringing fantasy to life. In the 6 short months that I have been playing, my character has gone through just about every emotion, and I always leave on Sunday feeling exhausted, but ecstatic. I love you guys all so much. I can’t wait for the next event; seriously I'm in withdraw!!

Drew - "You people are SO sick!! The Saturday night mod scared the crap out of me! I was SURE my character was not going to make it out of there alive, and that was before the walls came tumbling down. Then, I get separated from my friends when the Heretics started attacking again, then circled us, making me even MORE sure I'm not getting out alive...then my friends are screaming (cuz they think I'm dead) but I think they're being massacred, I lose my sword (in-game)...it was a living hell!! Then I get home Sunday, exhausted, and during a nap I have a nightmare about it and have to live the experience again!!!! THANK YOU SO DAMN MUCH!!!! I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!"

Katie - Equinox makes for a great weekend event. When the players can be just as creative on their NPC shifts as when they're playing their characters, you know something's going right. It's very player friendly and Plot has some of the most creatively warped people ever to write a mod.

Ed M. - I've been LARPing for over 12 years now, on and off... tried to break the habit a while back, but I missed gaming. A friend of mine told me about Equinox, and once I heard her talk about it, I knew I wouldn't be able to stay away. She convinced me to meet the staff and a few players, and I knew I had to give in to my LARP addiction again. (First one's free, you know you want it!) I'm SO glad I did! Equinox is a high quality game with a great group of people. Not many games can combine the roleplaying, special effects and writers to the point where you're this well immersed in the fantasy world like EQ can. They can attack you, mess with your head and scare the heck out of you... and you'll come back for more!

Jeana - I have tried a few larps but none ever really felt like my "larping home" until Equinox. I have felt that the players of Equinox are more mature and friendly, the plot interesting and worth participating in, and the game is well balanced between roleplay and combat. I look forward to each event with anticipation and not completely sure what will happen other than knowing that I will have a lot of fun.

Johonnas - New Jersey has the most amount of LARPs and EQ has to be the best from what I've heard from my fellow LARPers. I really lucked out getting a top notch game to be my first! Everyone is so nice and, even for someone that can be as shy as me, opening up and playing out my character was easy. I never thought a group of people who run around hitting each other with plumbing supplies would end up being the nicest, funniest and all-around best people I know! I love Equinox and I love you guys!

Ed S. - Equinox is just not a great game but a family that happens to show their appriciation for each other by smacking each other around with pvc wrapped up with foam and tape while yelling at the top of their lungs.
